This video was made for the fourth annual OpenIT, H&R Block’s internal 24-hour hackathon event. For this year, the event was vintage space themed.

As a volunteer on the creative team for the event, I was asked to create a video that would get associates at H&R Block excited to sign up for the event and then get them pumped up to compete on the morning of the competition’s start.

I created the storyboards, did the voice acting, audio mixing, filming, motion graphics, and final editing.

In the end, I was glad that I was able to help create something special to support an event I believe in.
