Spruce App Page

Making it known.

Two years into its life, the Spruce mobile banking app had a robust site built for converting future users of the service, but it lacked a dedicated page that talked about the app. Users needed a “reason to believe” in the app’s legitimacy. The business was hopeful for driving more app downloads and account sign-ups. So, let’s get started.

Thought Process

As I considered the needs of this page, I looked around at the competition. The space was overflowing with surprise and delight graphics, motion graphics, huge typography and bolstering app download numbers.

Harnessing the power of Lottie

Collaboration made this happen

To achieve best-in-class motion graphics for this page, we needed Lottie capability. Through working closely with our team’s development partners, we set up a Lottie integration on AEM that allowed us to upload .json files I had exported from After Effects. The result? Lucious motion graphics with hardly any damper on load time.
